Clif: "I was riding in the Elbe Hills ATV trail system. I took some trails at random and ended up climbing some hellacious steep, muddy, rocky, stepped up-and-downhills through trees and that had small rivers running down through them. Felt more like trials riding. Then miles and miles of muddy single-trail through big trees and dozens of "puddles" 2 to 3ft deep and up to 100 ft long, with logs floating in them and such and no way to go around them. Had to chug through them, almost up to the air filter on the bike. The DRZ never stalled thankfully. Climbing slimy mudbanks, greasy roots, slick rocks. Wet, wet, wet. Quite an adventure for me since this was the first true offroading I’ve done with this bike so far. Here’s a little pic where I stopped to catch my breath. I wasn’t stuck, but it was funny to step off the bike and it just sat there!"
