That's what the track looked like when I was done, before I cleaned it up. I mostly deleted the "connections" between letters, plus a couple doglegs when I realized I had started cutting back too soon. The "I" is just about 2 miles long (well, so are the other letters, I guess :-)

The overall track covered 15.2 miles and took about 42 mns to lay (including 2 or 3 stops to let the engine temps come down), for an average speed of almost 22 mph :-)

The "PLAYA" waypoint on the left is the 3-mile entrance to the Playa that is closest to Gerlach.

The bottom of the "B" is where the evening bonfire was lit. Somewhere around the middle of the "I" is where the, er, daytime entertainment took place.

The bottom right of the "A" is a bit crooked and cut short, 'coz the surface was getting reeeeeal soft way out over the East side...
